Job Description

ABB is seeking a talented and driven individual to join our team as a SAP ITGC Control Performer. In this role, you will play a critical part in our global ERP system, ensuring that all IT General Controls (ITGCs) are performed according to company policies and standards. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.   1. Perform IT General Controls (ITGCs) in accordance with company policies and standards.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and audit requirements.
  3. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of ITGCs and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Develop and maintain control documentation and procedures.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain ITGCs.
  6. Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for control enhancements.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to ITGCs.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to ITGCs.
  9. Communicate and report ITGC status and findings to management.
  10. Train and educate team members on ITGCs and their importance.
  11. Participate in internal and external audits related to ITGCs.
  12. Identify and address any gaps or deficiencies in ITGC processes.
  13. Collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure integration and compatibility of ITGCs with other systems.
  14. Stay informed about updates and changes in SAP and ensure ITGCs are adjusted accordingly.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

Job Qualifications

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Sap Erp Systems: The Sap Itgc Control Performer At Abb Should Possess A Strong Understanding Of Sap Erp Systems, Including Modules Such As Finance, Supply Chain, And Human Resources.

  • Experience With Itgc Controls: This Role Requires A Thorough Understanding Of Itgc (Information Technology General Controls) And How They Apply To Sap Erp Systems. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Performing Itgc Assessments And Audits.

  • Familiarity With Global Operations And Compliance: As Abb Is A Global Company, The Sap Itgc Control Performer Should Have Experience Working With Global Teams And Understanding Compliance Requirements In Different Countries.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: The Candidate Should Have Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills To Identify Potential Itgc Control Gaps And Propose Solutions To Address Them.

  • Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Sap Itgc Control Performer Will Be Required To Work With Cross-Functional Teams, Including It, Finance, And Internal Audit. Therefore, Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role.
