  1. Develop and implement clinical pharmacology strategies for innovative therapies.
  2. Lead and manage a team of clinical pharmacologists.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute clinical studies.
  4. Analyze and interpret clinical pharmacology data to support decision making.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders in the field of clinical pharmacology.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in clinical pharmacology.
  7. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
  8. Provide scientific expertise and guidance to internal and external stakeholders.
  9. Contribute to the design and conduct of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic analyses.
  10. Present findings and recommendations to senior management and external audiences.
  11. Develop and manage clinical pharmacology budgets.
  12. Mentor and train junior clinical pharmacology team members.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve clinical pharmacology processes and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with commercial teams to support market access and product launch strategies.
  15. Represent AbbVie at scientific conferences and meetings.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Pharmacology Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Pharmacology Or A Related Field Is Required For The Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology Role At Abbvie. A Phd Is Preferred.

  • Extensive Experience In Clinical Pharmacology: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 7-10 Years Of Experience In Clinical Pharmacology In The Pharmaceutical Industry Or Academia. This Includes Experience In Designing And Conducting Clinical Pharmacology Studies, Analyzing And Interpreting Data, And Writing Clinical Pharmacology Reports.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Drug Development: The Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Drug Development Processes, Including Regulatory Requirements, And The Ability To Apply This Knowledge To The Design And Execution Of Clinical Pharmacology Studies.

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills: This Role Requires Strong Communication Skills, Both Written And Oral, As The Associate Director Will Be Responsible For Presenting Study Results And Recommendations To Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders. Additionally, Strong Leadership Skills Are Necessary To Effectively Manage And Mentor A Team Of Clinical Pharmacologists.

  • Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced Environment: Abbvie Is A Dynamic And Fast-Paced Organization, And The Associate Director, Clinical Pharmacology Must Be Able To Thrive In This Type Of Environment. This Includes The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Priorities, Adapt To Changing Timelines, And Work Effectively Under Pressure.
