  4. Provide scientific expertise and guidance to support decision-making and drive project success.

  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies.
  11. Represent AbbVie at scientific conferences and events, and contribute to scientific publications.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  13. Act as a scientific advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations on business strategies and opportunities.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Life Sciences: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Pharmacology, Or Biochemistry Is Required For This Position. A Phd Is Preferred.

  • Extensive Industry Experience: Candidates Should Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Scientific Leadership Role Within The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry. Experience In Drug Discovery And Development Is Essential.

  • Strong Scientific Background: The Ideal Candidate Will Have A Deep Understanding Of Drug Development Processes, As Well As A Broad Knowledge Of Various Therapeutic Areas And Disease Mechanisms.

  • Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills, As The Associate Scientific Director Will Be Responsible For Overseeing A Team Of Scientists And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Abilities: The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Concepts To Both Technical And Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Crucial.
