- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality and compliant medical devices are provided for use in our products and therapies.
- Conduct thorough evaluations of supplier quality systems and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Identify potential risks and areas for improvement within supplier quality systems and work with suppliers to implement corrective actions.
- Monitor and track supplier performance through regular audits, quality metrics, and supplier scorecards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review and approve new suppliers and changes to existing suppliers.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address any quality issues or concerns and ensure timely resolution.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and standards related to medical device quality and communicate any changes or updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Lead or participate in supplier-related projects and initiatives to drive continuous improvement and ensure quality and compliance.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions for supplier management processes.
- Provide guidance and support to internal teams on supplier quality related topics.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of a comprehensive supplier quality management program.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to supplier quality and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in internal and external audits related to supplier quality and assist in addressing any findings or observations.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate completion of quality agreements and other required documentation.
- Act as a subject matter expert on supplier quality to support training and development of internal teams.
Bachelor's Degree In Engineering, Quality Assurance, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Supplier Management And Quality Control Within The Medical Device Industry.
Thorough Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Iso Standards Pertaining To Medical Device Quality.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Supplier Quality Programs, Including Conducting Audits And Driving Corrective Actions.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams And External Suppliers To Ensure Quality Standards Are Met.
