Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Epidemiology: A Director, Epidemiology At Abbvie Must Possess An Advanced Degree (Phd Or Mph) In Epidemiology Or A Related Field Such As Public Health, Biostatistics, Or Health Services Research.

  • Extensive Experience In Epidemiological Research: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least 8-10 Years Of Experience In Conducting Epidemiological Research, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry. This Includes Experience In Designing, Implementing, And Analyzing Large-Scale Epidemiological Studies.

  • Strong Analytical Skills: The Director, Epidemiology Must Have Strong Analytical Skills And Be Proficient In Statistical Software Such As Sas Or R. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Manipulation And Data Management.

  • Understanding Of Drug Development Process: Abbvie Is A Pharmaceutical Company, So The Director, Epidemiology Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Development Process And The Role Of Epidemiology In This Process.

  • Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Director, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Managing A Team Of Epidemiologists And Collaborating With Cross-Functional Teams. Therefore, Strong Leadership And Communication Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
