  1. Develop and maintain laboratory automation software solutions for AbbVie's pharmaceutical research and development efforts.

  3. Design and implement software solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and reliability of laboratory processes.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, ensuring minimal disruption to laboratory operations.
  5. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in laboratory automation technology to continuously improve processes.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation for software systems, including user manuals and standard operating procedures.
  7. Conduct testing and validation of software systems to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  8. Provide technical support and training to laboratory personnel on the use of automation software.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to integrate new technologies and systems into existing software infrastructure.
  10. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  11. Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations in the development and maintenance of software systems.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Software Engineering, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Software Development And Automation, Preferably In A Laboratory Or Pharmaceutical Setting.

  • Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As Python, Java, Or C++.

  • Experience Working With Laboratory Automation Equipment And Systems, Such As Liquid Handling Robots Or High-Throughput Screening Instruments.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills And Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
