Advanced Degree In Cellular And Molecular Biology Or Related Field: A Strong Foundation In The Principles And Techniques Of Cellular And Molecular Biology Is Essential For This Role. Most Positions At Abbvie Require A Minimum Of A Master's Degree, With A Preference For Candidates With A Phd.
Experience In A Research Laboratory Setting: Candidates Should Have Hands-On Experience Conducting Experiments And Analyzing Data In A Research Laboratory. This Could Include Previous Work Experience, Internships, Or Coursework.
Knowledge Of Cell Culture Techniques And Molecular Biology Methods: A Strong Understanding Of Cell Culture Techniques, Including Cell Line Maintenance, Transfection, And Cloning, Is Necessary For This Role. Familiarity With Molecular Biology Techniques Such As Dna/Rna Isolation, Pcr, And Western Blotting Is Also Important.
