Conduct experiments and research related to cellular and molecular biology in order to contribute to the development of new biotechnology products.
Utilize advanced knowledge and skills in cellular and molecular biology to design and execute experiments and analyze data.
Collaborate with other scientists and researchers to develop new research projects and support ongoing drug discovery efforts.
Stay updated on the latest advancements and techniques in cellular and molecular biology in order to continuously improve research methods.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of experimental procedures, results, and data analysis.
Contribute to the development of new assays and technologies to improve research processes.
Present research findings and data to internal and external stakeholders, including writing reports and presenting at conferences.
Act as a mentor and resource for junior scientists and provide guidance and support on experimental design and data analysis.
Ensure compliance with all safety and ethical guidelines in conducting research and handling biological materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects and support drug development efforts.
Identify and troubleshoot issues or challenges in research processes and propose solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Continuously evaluate and improve research methods and protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Contribute to the writing and submission of research publications and patent applications.
Represent AbbVie in a professional and ethical manner, both internally and externally.

Job Qualifications

Advanced Degree In Cellular & Molecular Biology: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Cellular & Molecular Biology Or Related Field Is Required For This Position. A Phd Is Preferred.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cell Biology Techniques: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess Strong Technical Expertise In A Wide Range Of Cell Biology Techniques Such As Cell Culture, Flow Cytometry, Microscopy, And Molecular Biology Techniques.
Experience With Molecular Biology Research: The Ability To Design, Execute And Interpret Experiments Using Molecular Biology Techniques Such As Cloning, Pcr, Gene Expression Analysis, And Dna Sequencing Is Essential For This Role.
Familiarity With Drug Discovery And Development Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Drug Discovery And Development Processes, Including Target Identification, Validation, And Lead Optimization.
Communication And Teamwork Skills: Strong Communication And Teamwork Skills Are Crucial For This Position. The Candidate Should Be Able To Effectively Communicate Their Research Findings, Work Collaboratively With Cross-Functional Teams, And Present Their Work At Conferences And Meetings.
