- Develop and execute the medical affairs strategy for US markets in alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage a team of medical professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure their success in implementing the medical affairs strategy.
- Ensure that all medical activities and communications comply with regulatory guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and regulatory affairs, to ensure alignment and integration of medical affairs initiatives.
- Serve as a scientific expert and resource for internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, patients, and key opinion leaders.
- Monitor and analyze medical and scientific trends and developments, and incorporate insights into the medical affairs strategy.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key external partners and stakeholders to support the company's medical affairs objectives.
- Oversee the planning and execution of scientific events, such as advisory boards and medical conferences, to educate and engage stakeholders.
- Ensure the timely review and approval of promotional and non-promotional medical materials.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and industry trends to anticipate potential challenges and proactively address them.
- Monitor and analyze data related to product safety and efficacy, and communicate findings to relevant internal teams.
- Serve as an ambassador for the company and its mission to improve patient outcomes through innovative medicines.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the medical affairs team.
- Mentor and develop team members to promote their professional growth and contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Represent the company at external meetings and conferences to build relationships and promote the company's reputation as a leader in medical innovation.
Advanced Degree In A Scientific Field Such As Medicine, Pharmacy, Or Life Sciences.
Minimum Of 8 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry, With At Least 5 Years In Medical Affairs.
Comprehensive Knowledge Of Us Regulatory And Compliance Requirements Related To Medical Affairs.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing Cross-Functional Teams.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Key Stakeholders And External Partners.
