Senior Specialist, Environmental, Health & Safety

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and global environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety protocols into business processes and operations
- Communicate safety protocols and procedures to all levels of the organization, including training and education programs
- Stay up-to-date on environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
- Analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
- Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential accidents or disasters
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations, to promote safety and sustainability initiatives
- Mentor and train junior team members on environmental, health, and safety practices and procedures
- Monitor and report on the company's environmental impact and make recommendations for sustainable practices
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Environmental, Health & Safety Roles, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations And Ability To Ensure Compliance.
Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Ehs Programs, Policies, And Procedures.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Practices.
