  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and global environmental, health, and safety regulations
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and risks and recommend corrective actions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety protocols into business processes and operations
  • Communicate safety protocols and procedures to all levels of the organization, including training and education programs
  • Stay up-to-date on environmental, health, and safety laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and continuous improvement
  • Analyze safety data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent future incidents
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans to address potential accidents or disasters
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and community organizations, to promote safety and sustainability initiatives
  • Mentor and train junior team members on environmental, health, and safety practices and procedures
  • Monitor and report on the company's environmental impact and make recommendations for sustainable practices
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure their compliance with safety regulations and standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Environmental, Health & Safety Roles, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Federal, State, And Local Ehs Regulations And Ability To Ensure Compliance.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Ehs Programs, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Ehs Practices.
