1. Oversee and manage all aspects of environmental services for ABM Industries, including but not limited to cleaning, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
2. Develop and implement strategies to maintain high standards of cleanliness and sustainability in clients' facilities.
3. Lead a team of environmental services staff, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure excellent performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
4. Collaborate with clients and other departments within ABM Industries to understand their specific needs and develop customized solutions.
5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of environmental services operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance.
6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices, and implement new strategies and technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to environmental services, including safety and health standards.
8. Develop and manage budgets for environmental services, making recommendations for cost-saving measures and ensuring financial targets are met.
9. Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing any concerns or issues in a timely manner.
10. Champion a culture of sustainability and environmental responsibility within the company and among clients.
11. Continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation in environmental services operations, processes, and procedures.
12. Represent ABM Industries and the environmental services department in meetings, presentations, and other professional settings.
13. Hire, train, and evaluate staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.
