As a Fleet Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our company's fleet of vehicles.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the company's fleet of vehicles, including maintenance, repairs, and scheduling.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet performance and minimize costs while maintaining high levels of safety and efficiency.
  3. Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of vehicles and equipment to job sites.
  4. Monitor and track vehicle usage, fuel consumption, and maintenance records to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of fleet-related products and services.
  6. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment to identify any potential issues and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  7. Oversee driver training programs and ensure all drivers are properly licensed and trained to operate company vehicles.
  8. Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, including vehicle registrations, insurance, and maintenance records.
  9. Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the fleet budget, including forecasting and tracking expenses.
  10. Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to fleet management and make recommendations for process improvements.
  11. Provide leadership and guidance to the fleet team, including setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and identifying areas for professional development.
  12. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to fleet operations, including safety and environmental regulations.
  13. Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and team members, to ensure a smooth and efficient fleet operation.
  14. Participate in company meetings and provide updates on fleet performance, issues, and recommendations for improvement.
  15. Represent the company in a professional and positive manner at all times, promoting the company's values and commitment to exceptional service.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Fleet Management Or Related Field

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fleet Operations, Including Maintenance, Repair, And Budgeting

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills

  • Familiarity With Relevant Laws And Regulations Related To Fleet Management, Such As Dot Regulations And Environmental Compliance.
