  1. Oversee all aspects of the company's fleet, including vehicles, equipment, and drivers.
  2. Develop and implement strategies to ensure the fleet is well-maintained, cost-effective, and compliant with all regulations.
  3. Manage and maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, maintenance schedules, and expenses.
  4. Monitor and analyze fleet operations to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  5. Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all drivers are trained and compliant with safety regulations.
  6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technology to improve fleet operations and reduce costs.
  9. Create and manage budgets for fleet maintenance and operations.
  10. Communicate effectively with team members and upper management to provide updates on fleet performance and any issues that may arise.
  11. Identify and address any operational or safety concerns promptly.
  12. Develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management.
  13. Lead and motivate a team of fleet employees, including drivers and maintenance staff.
  14. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
  15. Represent the company in negotiations with insurance companies, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics Management, Or A Related Field

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fleet Management, Preferably In A Large Organization

  • Strong Knowledge Of Fleet Maintenance And Repair Procedures, As Well As Dot Regulations

  • Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Drivers And Mechanics

  • Proficient In Using Fleet Management Software And Other Relevant Technology For Tracking And Reporting Purposes.
