- Create and manage budgets for fleet maintenance and operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and upper management to provide updates on fleet performance and any issues that may arise.
- Identify and address any operational or safety concerns promptly.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management.
- Lead and motivate a team of fleet employees, including drivers and maintenance staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Represent the company in negotiations with insurance companies, regulatory agencies, and other external stakeholders.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Logistics Management, Or A Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Fleet Management, Preferably In A Large Organization
Strong Knowledge Of Fleet Maintenance And Repair Procedures, As Well As Dot Regulations
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team Of Drivers And Mechanics
Proficient In Using Fleet Management Software And Other Relevant Technology For Tracking And Reporting Purposes.
