- Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of clients, employees, and premises.
- Conduct regular checks and inspections of premises to identify and address any potential security threats.
- Respond to emergencies and incidents in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a visible presence and provide a sense of security for all individuals on the premises.
- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized personnel are granted entry.
- Monitor and operate security systems, including CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
- Write detailed reports on any security incidents, accidents, or unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with clients, employees, and visitors, providing assistance and answering any security-related questions.
- Stay updated on company policies and procedures, as well as local laws and regulations related to security.
- Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify potential security vulnerabilities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Act as a first responder in case of fire, medical emergencies, or other crises.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in security protocols and procedures.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, representing ABM Industries in a positive manner.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Security Officer Position At Abm Industries Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Basic Knowledge And Skills Necessary To Perform The Job Duties.
