Accenture is looking for a highly motivated Mainframe Developer to join our team. As a Mainframe Developer at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using IBM mainframe technology. This role requires an individual who is creative, analytical, and able to work independently and collaboratively.To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and at least 3 years of experience in mainframe application development. You should also have expert knowledge of IBM mainframe technologies, such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS. Responsibilities:
- Design and develop software applications using IBM mainframe technology
- Utilize COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and CICS to create and maintain mainframe applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues
- Collaborate with other developers and team members to ensure successful application development
- Adhere to Accenture’s software development standards and procedures
- Stay up to date with the latest IBM mainframe technology developments
- Provide technical guidance and advice to development teams
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Resolve any issues or bugs related to mainframe application development
- Document all changes and updates to mainframe applications
