Job Description

Accenture is seeking an exceptional and highly motivated Research Scientist to join our Computational Biology and Bioinformatics team. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for designing and executing genomics-based experiments to support our research and development activities.The ideal candidate is an experienced and passionate scientist with a strong background in bioinformatics and/or computational biology. You should be detail-oriented, have excellent problem solving skills, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.You should have a passion for scientific research and a commitment to the development of novel and innovative technologies. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively, have excellent communication and organizational skills, and be able to work effectively with members of the scientific, engineering, and management teams.To be successful in this position, you must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, or a related field, and have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a research environment. Additionally, strong knowledge of molecular biology, genomics and sequencing technologies is highly desirable.We look forward to welcoming a motivated and talented individual to our team!

Compensation
