Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday West Certified Payroll Lead to join our team at Accenture. As a global leader in consulting, technology and outsourcing services, we are committed to providing our clients with innovative solutions and exceptional results. As a certified payroll lead, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the payroll processes for our clients in the Workday West region. We are looking for a detail-oriented and driven individual with extensive knowledge and experience in Workday payroll, who can lead and mentor a team to deliver high-quality and accurate payroll services.   1. Manage and oversee the payroll processes for clients in the Workday West region.
  2. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll for clients.
  3. Serve as the subject matter expert for Workday payroll, providing guidance and support to team members.
  4. Lead and mentor a team of payroll specialists to deliver high-quality and accurate payroll services.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements for payroll operations.
  6. Stay up-to-date with Workday payroll updates and changes, and ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their payroll needs and provide excellent customer service.
  8. Oversee payroll audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and identify and resolve discrepancies.
  9. Prepare and analyze payroll reports to provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve any complex payroll issues that may arise.
  11. Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders to provide updates on payroll processes and address any concerns.
  12. Continuously evaluate and improve payroll processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  13. Train and onboard new team members on Workday payroll processes and procedures.
  14. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to payroll operations.
  15. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and achieve business objectives.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Workday Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Working With The Workday Platform, With A Focus On Payroll Management. They Should Be Well-Versed In All Aspects Of Workday Payroll Processes, Including Configuration, Reporting, And Troubleshooting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Payroll Laws And Regulations: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal, State, And Local Payroll Laws, As Well As Tax Regulations. They Should Also Have Experience With Multi-State Payroll Processing And Compliance.

  • Project Management Skills: As A Workday West Certified Payroll Lead, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Leading Payroll Implementation Projects For Clients. Therefore, They Should Have Strong Project Management Skills, Including The Ability To Create And Manage Project Plans, Track Progress, And Communicate Effectively With Stakeholders.

  • Communication And Collaboration Abilities: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, As They Will Be Working Closely With Clients, Team Members, And Other Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Effectively Gather Requirements, Provide Updates, And Troubleshoot Issues In A Timely Manner.

  • Workday Certification: A Workday West Certified Payroll Lead Should Have At Least One Active Workday Certification, Such As Workday Hcm, Payroll, Or Time Tracking. This Demonstrates Their Expertise And Knowledge Of The Platform And Its Capabilities. Additional Certifications, Such As Compensation Or Benefits, Would Also Be Beneficial.
