1. Provide exceptional customer service to all customers, ensuring their needs are met and their questions are answered.
2. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of hardware and home improvement products in order to accurately assist customers with their purchases.
3. Actively promote and sell Ace Hardware products to customers, utilizing persuasive and effective sales techniques.
4. Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, ensuring products are properly stocked and displayed.
5. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the store's point of sale system.
6. Continuously develop a thorough understanding of all products and services offered by Ace Hardware.
7. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve sales goals and provide a positive customer experience.
8. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products in order to provide customers with the most relevant and current information.
9. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional and efficient manner.
10. Follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe working environment for both customers and employees.
11. Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking products, as needed.
12. Maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.
13. Attend training sessions and product knowledge seminars in order to continuously improve sales skills and product knowledge.
14. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to customer service, sales, and safety.
15. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
