  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Mexican culture and consumer behavior in order to effectively manage the Mexico category for Ace Hardware.
  2. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities within the Mexican retail industry, specifically in the hardware and home improvement sector.
  3. Implement strategic plans and initiatives to drive sales and profitability in the Mexico market, in line with the overall company goals and objectives.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, merchandising, and supply chain to ensure a cohesive and successful approach to category management in Mexico.
  5. Identify and source new products and suppliers from Mexico that align with Ace Hardware's standards of quality and value.
  6. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers in Mexico, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely delivery of products.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions on product assortment, pricing, and promotions within the Mexico category.

  • Fluent In Spanish: As A Mexico Category Management Specialist, Fluency In Spanish Is Essential In Order To Effectively Communicate With Suppliers, Vendors, And Customers In Mexico. This Includes Being Able To Write, Read, And Speak Spanish At A Professional Level.

  • Knowledge Of Mexican Market: A Thorough Understanding Of The Mexican Market, Including Consumer Preferences, Trends, And Regulations, Is Crucial For This Role. This Will Help In Developing Effective Category Strategies And Identifying Opportunities For Growth.

  • Experience In Category Management: Candidates For This Role Should Have A Strong Background In Category Management, Including Experience In Analyzing Market Data, Developing Category Plans, And Implementing Promotional Strategies.

  • Strong Negotiation Skills: The Mexico Category Management Specialist Will Be Responsible For Negotiating With Suppliers And Vendors In Mexico, Therefore, Strong Negotiation Skills Are A Must. This Includes The Ability To Build Relationships, Identify Win-Win Solutions, And Effectively Communicate With Stakeholders.
