3. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and providing timely and accurate solutions to their problems.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and in good working condition.
5. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in small engine technology, and share knowledge and best practices with team members.
6. Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed, including parts used and time spent on each job.
7. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of repairs and services.
8. Communicate effectively with customers regarding pricing, warranties, and other service-related inquiries.
9. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
10. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, both in the shop and when interacting with customers.
11. Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in all aspects of the job.
12. Assist with inventory management, including ordering and stocking of parts and supplies.
13. Provide training and mentorship to junior mechanics and technicians as needed.
14. Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times, including those related to safety, customer service, and ethical standards.
