As a Warehouse Specialist at Ace Hardware, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our warehouse.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse including receiving, storing, and distributing products to our retail stores.
  2. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and organized for easy access.
  3. Collaborate with the purchasing team to track and order inventory as needed to meet customer demand.
  4. Conduct regular quality checks to ensure all products are in good condition and adhere to Ace Hardware's standards.
  5. Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  6. Train and supervise new warehouse staff members to ensure they are following proper procedures and protocols.
  7. Communicate with retail store managers to fulfill product requests and resolve any issues or concerns.
  8. Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers, as well as preparing and packing orders for shipment.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all safety regulations and guidelines are followed.
  10. Utilize computer software to track inventory, orders, and shipments.
  11. Actively participate in team meetings and provide suggestions for improving warehouse processes and efficiency.
  12. Monitor and report any discrepancies or damages in inventory to the appropriate departments.
  13. Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, to ensure a safe and productive work environment.
  14. Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  15. Continuously strive to improve warehouse operations and contribute to the overall success of Ace Hardware as the helpful place for all home improvement needs.
