- Maintain accurate and organized inventory records in the warehouse.
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure timely replenishment and prevent stock shortages.
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy and ensuring proper storage.
- Prepare and process orders for shipment, including picking, packing, and labeling.
- Collaborate with other team members to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management software to track and manage inventory.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify any discrepancies and take necessary corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in the implementation of new warehouse processes and procedures to improve efficiency.
- Communicate any inventory or order fulfillment issues to management in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while performing warehouse duties.
- Train and mentor new warehouse employees as needed.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company to customers and vendors.
- Continuously strive to improve warehouse processes and procedures to increase productivity and accuracy.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Warehouse Specialist At Ace Hardware Should Possess A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Education Level To Ensure Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Job Requirements.
Previous Warehouse Experience: Prior Experience In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Is Preferred For This Position. Candidates With Experience In Inventory Management, Order Processing, And Forklift Operation Will Be Given Preference.
Physical Fitness And Stamina: This Job Involves Manual Labor, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Objects, Standing For Extended Periods, And Working In Varying Temperatures. Therefore, Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Crucial Qualifications For A Warehouse Specialist.
Attention To Detail: Warehouse Specialists At Ace Hardware Are Responsible For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records And Fulfilling Customer Orders. Therefore, Attention To Detail Is A Must-Have Qualification To Ensure Error-Free Work And Customer Satisfaction.
