R&D Associate
The Research Associate will work closely with other members of the R&D team to generate high-quality data for a number of different projects. The ideal candidate will be meticulous at the bench, well organized, keep good records and understand the importance of project timelines. The successful candidate will spend significant time performing cell culture, antibody purification, characterization and validation in a variety of applications (IF, chromatin immunoprecipitation). A minor responsibility of this position is maintenance of laboratory organization and securing competitive quotes for common laboratory supplies. Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve standard laboratory techniques, protocols, processes and equipment.
Three years of relevant laboratory experience
Experience in mammalian tissue culture, use of antibodies and biologicals in experiments and PCR
Demonstrated proficiency in the use of basic laboratory techniques, equipment and materials
Knowledge of IF, FACS or IHC would be an asset
