Job Description

Activision Blizzard is looking for a Community and Social Media Manager to join our team and help drive engagement and foster a strong sense of community amongst our players. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the most beloved and iconic gaming franchises in the world. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual who is eager to take on new challenges and bring our community engagement to the next level. If you have a strong understanding of social media platforms, excellent communication skills, and a deep love for gaming, we want to hear from you!

  1. Develop and implement community engagement strategies to drive player interaction and foster a sense of community within our games.
  2. Manage and grow our social media presence across various platforms, including but not limited to Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and Reddit.
  3. Create and curate engaging content for social media channels, including game updates, announcements, events, and community spotlights.
  4. Monitor and respond to player feedback and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency in messaging and brand voice across all community and social media efforts.
  6. Analyze and report on community and social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  7. Stay informed on industry trends, news, and events to identify opportunities for community engagement and social media content.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and community members to help amplify our messaging and build brand advocacy.
  9. Plan and execute community events, both online and in-person, to further engage and connect with our player base.
  10. Identify and mitigate potential community issues and crises, working closely with the customer service team to resolve any issues in a timely and effective manner.
  11. Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company and our games at events and conventions.
  12. Train and manage a team of community moderators and volunteers to assist with community management tasks.
  13. Continuously seek out new ways to improve and evolve our community and social media strategies to better engage and retain players.
  14. Foster a positive and inclusive community environment, enforcing community guidelines and promoting a safe and welcoming space for all players.
  15. Collaborate with marketing and PR teams to ensure community and social media efforts align with overall company goals and campaigns.

Job Qualifications
