Job Description

At ADP-Automatic Data Processing, we are looking for an experienced IT Disaster Recovery Coordinator to join our IT team. This role requires a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should have a passion for technology and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field; a minimum of 3 years of experience in disaster recovery, project management, or IT operations; strong knowledge of backup and recovery processes; and experience with software development and hardware maintenance.We are looking for a motivated self-starter who can take initiative and ensure that our IT systems are secure and prepared for any potential disasters. The IT Disaster Recovery Coordinator will be responsible for developing and executing our disaster recovery plans, as well as monitoring and testing our recovery processes. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute comprehensive disaster recovery plans.
  2. Monitor and test disaster recovery processes.
  3. Keep up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends related to disaster recovery.
  4. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure that our IT systems are secure and prepared for any potential disasters.
  5. Train and educate IT team members on disaster recovery processes and techniques.
  6. Create and maintain documentation of disaster recovery plans.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues related to disaster recovery.
  8. Liaise with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that all disaster recovery requirements are met.
  9. Maintain up-to-date records of all backup and recovery processes.
  10. Monitor and report on the performance of IT systems to ensure that they are functioning properly.
