- Manage and maintain the stability, availability, and performance of our SAP systems.
- Lead a team of SAP Basis administrators to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Collaborate with other teams, such as application development and infrastructure, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
- Monitor system health and proactively identify and resolve any issues or potential risks.
- Develop and implement best practices and procedures for SAP Basis administration.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
- Conduct regular system performance tuning and optimization to ensure optimal system performance.
- Create and maintain system documentation, including system architecture, configuration, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other team members.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and provide timely resolution.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and trends, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including business users, leadership, and IT teams.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely and effective resolution of any issues.
- Ensure compliance with security and data privacy policies and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to internal users.
Extensive Experience With Sap Basis Administration: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess At Least 5 Years Of Experience In Sap Basis Administration, With A Strong Understanding Of Sap System Architecture, Performance Optimization, And Troubleshooting.
Proficient In Installation And Maintenance Of Sap Systems: The Candidate Should Be Well-Versed In Installation, Configuration, And Maintenance Of Sap Systems, Including Sap Ecc, S/4Hana, Bw, And Other Sap Modules.
Knowledge Of Database Administration: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Database Administration, Specifically With Sap Supported Databases Such As Oracle, Sql Server, And Hana.
Experience With System Upgrades And Migrations: The Candidate Should Have Experience In Leading System Upgrades And Migrations, Including The Implementation Of Support Packs, Enhancement Packs, And System Copies.
Strong Communication And Leadership Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Work With Cross-Functional Teams, As Well As Strong Leadership Skills To Mentor And Guide Junior Team Members. Additionally, The Candidate Should Be Able To Collaborate With Business Stakeholders To Understand And Address Their Needs.
