- Assist healthcare providers in outpatient procedures and treatments.

Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified Medical Assistant (Outpatient) At Adventhealth Must Have Completed An Accredited Medical Assistant Program, Which Typically Includes Coursework In Medical Terminology, Anatomy And Physiology, And Clinical Procedures.
Current Certification As A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma): The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Valid Cma Certification From A Recognized Organization, Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Knowledge Of Outpatient Clinic Procedures: As An Outpatient Medical Assistant, The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Outpatient Clinic Procedures, Including Scheduling Appointments, Checking In Patients, And Assisting With Basic Medical Procedures.
Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Environment: Adventhealth Is A Busy Healthcare Organization, And The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience Working In A Fast-Paced Environment, Such As A Busy Clinic Or Urgent Care Facility.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Certified Medical Assistant (Outpatient) At Adventhealth Must Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Communicate With Patients, Healthcare Providers, And Other Staff Members. This Includes Being Able To Empathize With Patients, Listen Actively, And Provide Clear And Concise Instructions.
