We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Home Health department. 1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in their homes, in line with AdventHealth's mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.
2. Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the medical team.
4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
6. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing emotional support and addressing any questions or concerns.
7. Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
8. Follow infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.
9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
10. Adhere to all state and federal regulations and guidelines, as well as AdventHealth's policies and procedures.
11. Display professionalism and maintain confidentiality in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
12. Continuously strive to improve patient care and outcomes through self-evaluation and feedback.
13. Represent AdventHealth positively in the community and promote our services and mission.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
