1. Greet and welcome patients in a warm and professional manner, creating a positive first impression of AdventHealth.
2. Assist with patient check-in and registration processes, ensuring accuracy of all necessary information.
3. Escort patients to exam rooms and communicate any delays or changes in schedule to them.
4. Take and record vital signs, patient history, and other necessary information accurately and efficiently.
5. Prepare exam rooms and ensure all necessary supplies and equipment are available for each patient visit.
6. Assist healthcare providers with procedures and exams, providing support and comfort to patients as needed.
7. Administer medications and vaccinations according to established protocols and provider orders.
8. Perform in-office testing and procedures, such as collecting specimens and conducting pregnancy tests.
9. Educate patients on women's health topics, including contraception, prenatal care, and menopause.
10. Document all patient interactions and procedures accurately and completely in electronic medical records.
11. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
12. Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and other healthcare team members to ensure high-quality and coordinated care.
13. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on women's health topics and best practices.
14. Adhere to all AdventHealth policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
15. Provide excellent customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
