- Ensure proper patient identification and labeling of samples.

- Follow established protocols and procedures for specimen collection, handling, and transportation.
- Verify and record patient information and test results accurately.

Certification: A Phlebotomist At Adventhealth Must Possess A Valid And Current Certification From A Recognized Program, Such As The National Healthcareer Association (Nha) Or The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp).
Experience: A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting Is Preferred, With A Strong Understanding Of Phlebotomy Techniques And Procedures.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: A Thorough Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Essential For A Phlebotomist At Adventhealth, As They Will Be Responsible For Accurately Labeling And Documenting Specimens.
Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively And Compassionately With Patients, As Well As Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team, Is Crucial For A Phlebotomist At Adventhealth.
Attention To Detail: A High Level Of Attention To Detail Is Necessary In Order To Accurately Collect, Label, And Transport Specimens, As Well As Maintain Meticulous Records And Follow Strict Protocols To Ensure Patient Safety.
