
Compliance Manager (Healthcare)

- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in accordance with government regulations and industry standards
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and address any issues that arise
- Keep up-to-date on changes in regulations and communicate any updates to relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance is integrated into all aspects of the organization
- Provide training and education to employees on compliance regulations and policies
- Monitor and track compliance metrics and report to senior management on a regular basis
- Investigate any potential compliance violations and take appropriate corrective actions
- Serve as a point of contact for regulatory agencies and participate in compliance audits and inspections
- Maintain documentation and records related to compliance activities
- Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of the compliance program
- Act as a liaison between the company and external compliance consultants or legal counsel
- Communicate and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
Extensive Knowledge Of Healthcare Laws And Regulations: A Successful Compliance Manager Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Healthcare Laws, Such As Hipaa, Medicare, And Medicaid, As Well As Any Other Applicable Regulations.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Compliance Manager, You Will Need To Communicate Effectively With Various Stakeholders, Including Healthcare Providers, Insurance Agents, And Government Agencies. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For This Position.
Experience In Healthcare Compliance: Aetna Is Looking For A Candidate With Prior Experience In Healthcare Compliance, Preferably In A Managerial Or Leadership Role. This Will Demonstrate Your Understanding Of Compliance Processes And Procedures Within The Industry.
