  1. Provide confidential counseling services to employees facing personal and work-related challenges.
  2. Establish trusting and supportive relationships with employees seeking counseling.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the Aetna team to provide comprehensive support to employees.
  5. Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions.
  6. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all counseling practices.
  7. Continually evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on employee progress and needs.
  8. Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches to address employee concerns.
  9. Educate employees on available resources and benefits through Aetna's EAP program.
  10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance counseling skills.
  11. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with employees.
  12. Communicate effectively with HR and management to ensure the well-being of employees.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and privacy.
  14. Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  15. Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees seeking counseling services.

Job Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Counseling Or Therapy, Preferably In A Corporate Or Employee Assistance Setting.

  • Certification As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Or Other Relevant State License.

  • Knowledge Of And Experience With A Variety Of Therapeutic Techniques, Including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, And Motivational Interviewing.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Trust With Clients From Diverse Backgrounds.
