- Provide confidential counseling services to employees facing personal and work-related challenges.
- Establish trusting and supportive relationships with employees seeking counseling.
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other members of the Aetna team to provide comprehensive support to employees.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all counseling practices.
- Continually evaluate and adjust treatment plans based on employee progress and needs.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and approaches to address employee concerns.
- Educate employees on available resources and benefits through Aetna's EAP program.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance counseling skills.
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with employees.
- Communicate effectively with HR and management to ensure the well-being of employees.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures regarding confidentiality and privacy.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment for all employees seeking counseling services.
A Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Counseling Or Therapy, Preferably In A Corporate Or Employee Assistance Setting.
Certification As A Licensed Professional Counselor (Lpc), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Lcsw), Or Other Relevant State License.
Knowledge Of And Experience With A Variety Of Therapeutic Techniques, Including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, And Motivational Interviewing.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build Rapport And Establish Trust With Clients From Diverse Backgrounds.
