
EAP Counselor (Employee Assistance Program)

- Provide confidential counseling services to employees through Aetna's Employee Assistance Program.
- Offer support and resources to employees dealing with personal and work-related challenges.
- Utilize your understanding of mental health issues to assist employees in managing and improving their well-being.
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans for each employee.
- Collaborate with other members of the Aetna team to ensure a holistic approach to employee support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee interactions and progress.
- Stay up-to-date on current mental health research and techniques to continuously improve counseling services.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards employees, creating a safe and non-judgmental environment.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all interactions with employees.
- Communicate effectively with employees, promoting self-care and healthy coping strategies.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance counseling skills.
- Follow Aetna's policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality of services.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Represent Aetna and the EAP program positively to employees and other stakeholders.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment for Aetna employees.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Licensure As A Mental Health Professional (E.g. Lpc, Lmft, Lcsw).
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Or Related Services.
Knowledge Of Eap Best Practices And Familiarity With Aetna's Eap Programs And Services.
