
EAP Counselor (Employee Assistance Program)

- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for employees experiencing personal or work-related issues.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to employees in need.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine the appropriate treatment and referrals for employees.
- Collaborate with HR and management to develop and implement wellness programs and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and employee progress.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in mental health and wellness.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external mental health resources and community organizations for referrals.
- Communicate effectively with employees, HR, and management regarding the EAP services and resources available.
- Provide coaching and support to employees in developing coping strategies and improving overall well-being.
- Foster a supportive and non-judgmental environment for employees seeking help.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the improvement of EAP services.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain professional boundaries with employees.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EAP services to meet the changing needs of employees.
- Represent the company and promote EAP services at employee orientations and other company events.
- Collaborate with other EAP counselors and team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to employee support.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field.
Valid And Current State Licensing As A Mental Health Professional (E.g. Lpc, Lcsw, Lmft).
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Services, Preferably In A Corporate Or Eap Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Various Counseling Techniques And Evidence-Based Therapies.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Establish Rapport And Build Trust With Clients From Diverse Backgrounds.
