- Provide confidential counseling services to employees through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
- Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for employees seeking counseling services.
- Offer crisis intervention and support to employees in urgent mental health situations.
- Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to provide comprehensive care for employees.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all counseling services provided.
- Educate and promote mental health and wellness resources to employees.
- Assist in the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives for employees.
- Continuously evaluate and improve EAP counseling services to ensure high-quality care.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all employees seeking counseling services.
- Serve as a supportive resource for employees, offering guidance and referrals as needed.
- Stay current on industry best practices and trends in mental health counseling.
- Collaborate with HR and management to address any employee mental health concerns or workplace issues.
- Foster a positive and welcoming environment for employees seeking counseling services.
- Uphold Aetna's mission and values of promoting employee well-being and personal and professional growth.
Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Services, Preferably In A Workplace Setting
Certification Or Licensure As A Counselor Or Therapist (E.g. Lpc, Lmft, Lcsw)
Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Issues, Substance Abuse, And Other Personal And Work-Related Challenges Faced By Employees
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Build Rapport With Clients.
