  1. Provide confidential counseling services to employees through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  2. Conduct initial assessments and develop treatment plans for employees seeking counseling services.
  3. Offer crisis intervention and support to employees in urgent mental health situations.
  4. Collaborate with other mental health professionals and resources to provide comprehensive care for employees.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
  6. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in all counseling services provided.
  7. Educate and promote mental health and wellness resources to employees.
  8. Assist in the development and implementation of mental health programs and initiatives for employees.
  9. Continuously evaluate and improve EAP counseling services to ensure high-quality care.
  10. Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all employees seeking counseling services.
  11. Serve as a supportive resource for employees, offering guidance and referrals as needed.
  12. Stay current on industry best practices and trends in mental health counseling.
  13. Collaborate with HR and management to address any employee mental health concerns or workplace issues.
  14. Foster a positive and welcoming environment for employees seeking counseling services.
  15. Uphold Aetna's mission and values of promoting employee well-being and personal and professional growth.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience Providing Counseling Services, Preferably In A Workplace Setting

  • Certification Or Licensure As A Counselor Or Therapist (E.g. Lpc, Lmft, Lcsw)

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Mental Health Issues, Substance Abuse, And Other Personal And Work-Related Challenges Faced By Employees

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Maintain Confidentiality And Build Rapport With Clients.
