Medical Degree And Active State Medical License: A Medical Director At Aetna Must Have A Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution And A Current And Active State Medical License.
Extensive Experience In Healthcare Management: A Strong Candidate For This Role Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Management, Preferably In A Leadership Role. This Experience Should Include Managing Teams, Developing And Implementing Healthcare Policies, And Working With Various Stakeholders.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance: A Medical Director At Aetna Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations, Compliance, And Industry Standards. This Includes Knowledge Of Medicare, Medicaid, And Other Federal And State Regulations.
