  1. Provide high-quality and patient-centered care to members in a primary care setting.

  5. Conduct thorough and accurate medical history and physical examinations.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program: A Nurse Practitioner At Aetna Must Have A Master's Degree In Nursing, Which Is The Minimum Educational Requirement For This Role.

  • Current And Valid State Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Aprn) License: A Nurse Practitioner Must Have A Current And Valid Aprn License In The State Where They Will Be Practicing Primary Care.

  • Certification As A Nurse Practitioner: Aetna Requires Nurse Practitioners To Be Certified By A Nationally Recognized Certifying Body, Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center (Ancc) Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners Certification Board (Aanpcb).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner: Aetna Prefers Candidates With At Least 2 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner, Preferably In A Primary Care Setting.

  • Strong Clinical And Diagnostic Skills: A Nurse Practitioner At Aetna Must Possess Strong Clinical And Diagnostic Skills To Provide High-Quality Primary Care Services To Patients. This Includes The Ability To Assess, Diagnose, And Treat A Wide Range Of Acute And Chronic Conditions.
