  1. Provide comprehensive primary care services to members in accordance with Aetna's standards and guidelines.
  2. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients in collaboration with the primary care team.
  3. Conduct thorough and accurate assessments and examinations of patients, including obtaining medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and making diagnoses.
  4. Prescribe and administer medications and treatments, as necessary.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention techniques.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  9. Adhere to all legal and ethical standards of practice.
  10. Continuously strive for excellence in patient care and uphold Aetna's high standards of quality.
  11. Act as a patient advocate and promote health and wellness within the community.
  12. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both with patients and other healthcare team members.
  13. Stay current with developments and advancements in the healthcare field.
  14. Attend and participate in meetings, trainings, and conferences, as required.

  16. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  17. Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  18. Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing With A Specialization In Primary Care From An Accredited University.

  • Current And Active Certification As A Nurse Practitioner From A Recognized National Certification Board (Such As The American Nurses Credentialing Center Or The American Academy Of Nurse Practitioners).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Nurse Practitioner In A Primary Care Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Evidence-Based Practice, Disease Prevention, And Health Promotion.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams.
