Group Dental Underwriter

Develops comparative benefit packages, reviews claim experience, and applies underwriting guidelines to prepare Dental or Vision benefit packages for renewal and/or prospect rates. Responds to a variety of complex and highly customized Requests for Proposal (RFP) involving Aflac Group Dental and Vision products and services. Maintains knowledge of current and emerging trends, assesses impact, and collaborates to incorporate into future solutions; ensures adherence to state, federal, and industry laws, regulations, guidelines, and publications. Provides guidance/advice/mentorship to junior Group Underwriters and sales staff; assists in handling escalated issues that they may encounter on a day-to-day basis.
