Social Worker

Provides psychological and social support to patients and families dealing with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Serves as an advocate for claimants providing access to community services such as financial assistance, legal aid, and housing; develops, plans, and implements programs designed to improve the comfort and care of patients and their families; advises family caregivers regarding medical decisions.
