Job Description

Agilent Technologies is looking for a motivated Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist is responsible for identifying and managing suppliers, negotiating pricing and contracts, and ensuring that we maintain a competitive advantage in the marketplace. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field and at least three years of experience in procurement and/or supply chain management. Experience with sourcing technology and software is also preferred. The Strategic Sourcing Specialist should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and have the knowledge and experience to successfully manage multiple projects. Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and manage suppliers, ensuring they meet company standards and requirements.
  2. Negotiate pricing and contracts with suppliers, while maintaining a competitive advantage.
  3. Utilize sourcing technology and software to optimize cost savings and efficiency.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Analyze supply chain data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvement.
  6. Manage multiple projects and ensure that deadlines are met.
  7. Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain performance.
  8. Monitor supplier performance and handle any supply chain-related issues.
  9. Create reports and presentations to communicate results to stakeholders.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in the marketplace.
