
Agricultural Commodity Grader (Poultry)
As part of the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), Livestock & Poultry (LP) program you will serve as the grader in a plant that requires the service and is responsible for all grading activities performed. Maintains relations with plant management and employees. Examines products to determine conformance with approved contract specifications. Monitors the plant and processing operations to assure that the plant remains in compliance with regulations. Prepares and maintains a variety of reports and records. Trains and authorizes selected plant personnel to grade according to U.S. standards and monitors their grading/inspection work.
