Job Description

We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator, covering Queens. Provide support in troubleshooting and resolving emergency/sensitive program issues as they arise. Collaborate with Assistant Director in enhancing/modifying work practices and procedures to meet changing programmatic needs, as needed, and in enforcing departmental adherence to agency-wide policies. Assists in coordinating personnel management hiring and training processes, to ensure adequate and competent staffing for assigned program sites. Helps assess capabilities and development needs of non-clinical and consulting staff and clearly communicates performance expectations and goals as the relate the achievement of program goals and objectives. Serves as liaison with other agency departments to coordinate person-centered service provision.

Job Qualifications
  • Must have 5 yrs. proven experience supporting organizational and programmatic strategies

  • Must have 5yrs experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities

  • Must be knowledgeable in OPWDD regulations

  • Must be willing and able to travel to residential sites throughout Queens

Compensation
