Associate General Counsel, International Privacy

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Associate General Counsel to join our International Privacy team at Airbnb! The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of international privacy law, a commitment to helping us build a culture that values privacy, and the ability to provide strategic guidance on a broad range of legal and policy issues. In this role, you will provide legal expertise on issues related to the collection, use, storage, and transfer of personal data. You will also be responsible for supporting our global operations teams in their efforts to ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws.To be successful in this role, you must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and be admitted to practice law in at least one jurisdiction. Furthermore, you must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in privacy and data protection law and a deep knowledge of global data privacy regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Experience in the technology field is a plus.We are looking for a highly motivated and organized self-starter with excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
