
Aircraft Mechanic
Are you a skilled mechanic with a passion for aircraft? Alaska Airlines is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This is a great opportunity to join one of the most respected airlines in the country!In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining our fleet of aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and established safety protocols. You will also troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components and systems.To be successful in this role, you will need a valid A&P license and at least three years of experience in aircraft maintenance. You must have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic components and systems.
- Maintain aircraft in accordance with FAA regulations and established safety protocols.
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues with aircraft.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on aircraft.
- Execute preventative maintenance plans.
- Document all work performed on the aircraft.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Ensure aircraft are maintained in a timely manner.
- Have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Adhere to the highest standards of safety and quality.
