Job Description

Alaska Airlines is seeking a highly talented and experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft within the Alaska Airlines fleet. To be successful in this role, you must have a passion for aircraft maintenance and a strong commitment to safety.We are looking for a professional who can approach the role with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. The ideal candidate must have a valid A&P license and at least five years of experience in aircraft maintenance. The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics is essential. Candidates must also have a proven track record of working independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft within the Alaska Airlines fleet.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  3. Read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and standards.
  5. Work independently and as part of a team.
  6. Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and identify aircraft issues.
  7. Inspect aircraft to ensure it meets safety and regulatory standards.
  8. Perform repairs and maintenance on aircraft systems.
  9. Follow all FAA regulations and company policies.
  10. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities.
