
Aircraft Mechanic
Alaska Airlines is searching for a talented and experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated and dedicated aircraft maintenance professional with an extensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems and components. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will also have a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant license and extensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations. If you are a detail-oriented, safety-focused, and experienced Aircraft Mechanic, this is the perfect position for you!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine aircraft maintenance and troubleshooting, including inspections, repairs, and replacements.
- Conduct pre-flight, post-flight, and periodic airworthiness inspections in accordance with FAA regulations.
- Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are in safe, operable condition.
- Maintain records of work performed and parts used.
- Inspect and repair aircraft systems, components, and parts, including engines, propellers, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
- Comply with all applicable safety regulations and procedures.
- Keep abreast of new developments in aircraft maintenance technology and techniques.
- Work with other mechanics and support personnel to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
