Alaska Airlines is seeking an experienced Aircraft Mechanic to join our team. We are looking for a hardworking and motivated individual to help maintain our fleet of aircraft. The successful candidate must have a proven track record in aircraft maintenance and a commitment to safety and quality. Our ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong communication and organizational skills, and an eye for detail. The Aircraft Mechanic must also possess the required qualifications below in order to be considered for the role.
Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance and repair tasks such as engine and systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and component replacement.
- Ensure safety and quality standards are met during all aircraft maintenance activities.
- Follow all required industry procedures and regulations when performing maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to document and track aircraft maintenance.
- Perform inspections in accordance with manufacturer's instructions and safety regulations.
- Inspect aircraft components and systems for compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose aircraft problems and determine necessary repairs.
- Monitor and maintain aircraft operational and safety records.
- Ensure aircraft are properly stocked with parts, tools, and supplies.
