Alaska Airlines is looking for an experienced and motivated Pilot to join our team. The successful candidate will have the necessary qualifications to become a part of our team.Required qualifications for the Pilot position include an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with the appropriate aircraft type rating and a current FAA first class medical certificate. In addition, the successful candidate must have at least 2,500 hours of total flight time and 1,500 hours of pilot-in-command time. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Science, Aviation Management, or a related field. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of airline experience. Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all Alaska Airlines safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain a valid Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate with the appropriate aircraft type rating and a current FAA first class medical certificate.
- Log and track all flight hours and pilot-in-command time.
- Ensure outstanding customer service by providing passengers with a safe and comfortable flight.
- Pilot aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rules and regulations.
- Monitor the aircraft's instruments, aircraft systems, and surrounding environment to ensure a safe flight.
- Communicate with air traffic controllers and other aircraft in the vicinity.
- Maintain knowledge of applicable navigation charts and procedures.
- Utilize problem solving skills to respond to unpredictable situations in flight.
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times.
