Alaska Airlines values the hard work and dedication of its Pilots. We are currently searching for a highly experienced, passionate, and reliable individual to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have the qualifications to get the job done and the enthusiasm to help our customers make the most of their flying experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of Alaska Airlines’ aircraft, complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies. We are seeking a candidate who has a minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command and 1,500 hours of multi-engine time. Furthermore, the successful candidate must have a current Airline Transport Pilot Certificate, a valid FAA Class I medical certificate, and must have the ability to pass a background check and drug test.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of Alaska Airlines’ aircraft, in accordance with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and company policies.
- Maintain the highest standards of safety and customer service during flight operations.
- Maintain a current Airline Transport Pilot Certificate and valid FAA Class I medical certificate.
- Maintain a minimum of 2,000 hours of Pilot in Command and 1,500 hours of multi-engine time.
- Monitor the aircraft performance, weather conditions, and other information to ensure the safety of the flight.
- Monitor the navigation systems, communication equipment, and other aircraft instruments to ensure proper functioning.
- Manage aircraft systems and make necessary adjustments as required.
- Complete flight plans, pre-flight checklists, and other paperwork as needed.
- Communicate with ground personnel, air traffic controllers, and other airline personnel.
- Pass a background check and drug test.
